[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 5월부터 양양군이 재활용품 품질개선 지원 사업을 위한 공동․단독주택 자원관리 도우미를 운영에 들어간다고 밝혔다.

코로나19에 따른 비대면 소비가 급증함과 동시에 지친 일상을 재충전하기 위해 청정 이미지의 양양군을 방문하는 관광객들이 늘어나면서 생활쓰레기와 재활용품 발생 역시 많아지고 있지만 분리·선별이 잘 되지 않는 것이 현실인데, 이에 군은 재활용 폐기물의 적정 분리와 선별에 필요한 인력을 채용하여 공동․단독주택에서 발생하는 재활용품의 품질을 개선하고자 모두 26명의 자원관리 도우미를 채용한다고 했다.

자원관리 도우미는 읍․면마다 차등을 두어 배치할 계획으로, 읍․면별 모집공고에 따라 지원하면 되고, 채용된 자원관리 도우미는 소속 읍․면 공동주택 및 단독주택 거점수거지점에서 재활용 품목을 사전 선별하게 되며, 올바른 재활용품 분리배출 방법을 홍보함으로써 적극적인 군민의식 개선에 앞장서게 된다고 했다.
