농업인 편의를 위해 이달부터 농기계 임대사업소 휴일 운영도 시작했고, 군은 우선 모내기 등이 마무리되는 오는 5월까지, 수리시설 개·보수 사업을 준공키로 했으며, 이를 위해 이미 지난달 용·배수로와 취입보 등 17곳에 대한 공사 발주를 끝내고 작업을 서두르고 있다고 했다. 

이와 함께 신읍지구와 원천지구, 풍산지구 등 3개 지구의 소규모 배수개선 사업에 지난달 착공해 이르면 상반기 중 마무리할 계획이며, 또 군은 가뭄피해를 미리 예방하는 차원에서 연말까지 소형관정 신청접수와 개발에도 나서고 있다고 전했다.
