평일에는 1시간 앞당겨 오전 8시부터 운영을 시작해 농기계를 편의성을 더 높일 계획이며, 현재 고성군은 본소(간성읍)와 지소(남부, 북부) 2곳의 임대사업소를 운영하며 62종 511대의 농기계를 임대하고 있고, 지난 한 해 실적이 6,548대/8,256일/115,412천원 임대하였으며, 매년 임대 농기계 이용 수요의 증가로 적기 영농 실현에 이바지하고 있다고 전했다. 

특히, 코로나19로 어려움을 겪는 농촌 현실을 고려해 지난 2020년 3월부터 농기계 임대료 50% 감면 혜택을 시행해 농업인을 지원하고 있으며, 지난 2년간 농가에 215,217천원의 임대료 감면 혜택을 제공했고, 임대료 50% 감면 혜택은 올해 6월까지 연장시행한다고 했다.
