[서종협 기자 = 태백시] 태백시(시장 이상호)는 2023년 1월 1일부터 희망택시를 확대 운영한다고 밝혔다.

선정 기준 또한 승강장과의 거리 1km에서 500m로, 버스 운행 횟수 1일 4회 이하에서 6일 이하로 완화되어 벽·오지 주민들의 불편을 해소할 수 있을 것으로 보인다.

태백시 관계자는 “관내 대중교통 취약지역에 지역 맞춤형 교통서비스를 제공하여 주민들의 실질적인 이동권 보장을 위해 앞으로도 더 노력하겠다.”고 말했다.
