[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 고성군은 2022년 노후된 경유자동차에 대하여 미세먼지 등 건강에 유해한 대기오염물질을 줄이기 위하여 ’운행차 배출가스 저감사업‘을 추진한다고 밝혔다.

고성군은 지난 2021년 2월부터 현재까지 ‘운행차 배출가스 저감사업’을 추진하여 노후경우차 조기폐차 307대, 경유자동차 매연저감장치 설치 지원  12대, 건설기계 엔진교체 지원 20대, LPG화물차 신차구입 지원 9대, 어린이 통학차량 LPG차 전환 지원 1대를 선정 지원하였고, 2022년도 운행차 배출가스 저감사업 물량은 노후 경유차 조기폐차 지원 424대/6억7천8백,40만원, 경유자동차 매연저감장치 설치 61대/2억1백30만원, 건설기계 엔진교체 지원 5대/8천2백50만원, LPG화물차 신차구입 지원 13대/3천900만원, 어린이 통학차량 LPG차 전환 지원 1대 / 700만원 등을 지원할 계획이라고 했다.

‘운행차 배출가스 저감사업’ 추진으로 확보된 총 예산은 10억 8백만원이며 3월중에 사업공고를하고 연중 수시접수 할 계획으로 대상자 선정 후 사업별로 보조금을 지급할 예정이며, 신청을 희망하는 차량소유자는 고성군청 홈페이지에서 확인하거나 고성군 환경보호과 기후변화팀으로 문의하면 된다고 전했다.

군 관계자는 “노후된 경유자동차를 지원하는 2022년도 운행차 배출가스 저감사업 추진으로 운행차의 미세먼지 발생을 줄여 군민들이 보다 상쾌한 공기속에서 생활을 할 수 있을 것이라고 기대한다며 우리나라 제일의 미세먼지 청정 고성이 되기 위해 대상차량 및 건설기계 소유자분들의 많은 관심과 적극적인 참여를 바란다”고 말했다.
