[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 10월 19일, 포천시의회는 제160회 임시회를 개회하고 오는 25일까지 7일간의 의사일정에 들어갔다고 밝혔다.

이번 임시회에서 조용춘 의원이 대표 발의한 ‘포천시 민원업무담당 공무원 등의 보호 및 지원에 관한 조례안’ 등 9건의 조례안과 ‘2022년도 지방세연구원 출연동의안’등 6건의 기타안을 심의할 예정이고, 또한, ‘아트밸리 야간경관 조성사업’, ‘청성역사공원 노후시설 정비사업’ 등 집행부에서 추진하고 있는 주요사업장과 시민의 불편사항이 예상되는 현장을 찾아 문제점을 파악하고 개선대책을 모색해 나갈 계획이라고 했다.

의장 직무대리 송상국 부의장은 개회사를 통해 “안건심사에 소홀함이 없도록 세심한 관심을 부탁드린다”며 “주요사업장 답사 시에는 사업장의 안전과 사업추진에 문제점은 없는지, 시민의 목소리가 잘 담겨 사업이 추진될 수 있도록 발전적인 대안을 제시해 달라”고 말했다.
