[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 1월 5일 동두천시 소요동 행정복지센터는 ㈜서일전선에서 이웃돕기 성금 300만원을 기부했다고 밝혔다.

이번에 기탁된 성금 300만원은 소요동 행정복지센터 내 설치된 ‘희망나눔 상자’ 운영을 위한 생필품 마련에 사용될 예정이라고 했다.

㈜서일전선 서상관 대표는 “동절기 한파와 코로나19로 인해 어려운 상황에 놓인 이웃들께 작게나마 도움을 드리고 싶다”고 밝혔다.

장지봉 소요동장은 “코로나19로 힘든 상황 속에서도 이웃에 위로와 힘을 주시는 ㈜서일전선에 감사드리며 소요동에서도 도움이 필요한 취약계층 발굴에 최선을 다하겠다.”고 전했다. 

‘희망나눔상자’는 생계위기로 긴급하게 생필품이 필요한 동두천시민 누구나 도움을 받을 수 있도록 행정복지센터 내 설치되어 있으며, 2021년 3월 소요동행정복지센터에도 설치되어 운영 중에 있다고 밝혔다.
