[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 27일 강릉시와 강릉문화재단이 구)강릉예술창작인촌에 조성한 문화예술교육 전용시설 ‘꿈꾸는 사임당 예술터’가 온라인으로 개관한다고 밝혔다.

‘꿈꾸는 예술터’는 문체부 공모사업 일환으로 현재 전국 7개 지역(전주, 성남, 강릉, 밀양, 청주, 장수, 고흥)에서 운영 중이라고 전했다.

강릉‘꿈꾸는 사임당 예술터’의 주요 대상은 어린이·청소년으로, 지역 예술가(예술강사) 기반 시각예술 중심으로, 창의와 자율성을 중시한 융복합 문화예술교육 프로그램을 제공한다고 했다. 

지역의 모든 학생들이 공간과 프로그램을 경험할 수 있도록 강원도강릉교육지원청과 협력하여 수업 시간과 연계하는 방안을 마련하고 있으며 문화예술교육의 지역 거점이 될 수 있도록 구축할 예정이라고 했다. 

주요 공간은 본관 1층과 3층, 별관, 야외공간으로 조성되어 있으며, ‘인·의·예·지·신(미술·융합예술·미디어·건축·메이커)’다섯개의 교육공간과 모든 과정이 기록되는 아카이브룸, 전시와 소통의 장인 아트라운지 등으로 구성되어 있다고 했다.

강릉시 관계자는“창의적인 예술교육 프로그램을 개발함으로 양질의 교육과 다양한 예술 활동 참여 기회를 제공하여 융복합된 미래지향적 교육으로 지역의 새로운 예술교육의 방향을 선도하여 문화예술교육 활성화를 기대한다”고 말했다.
