[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 12월 17일 동두천시 중앙동에 위치한 성모치과는 중앙동 행정복지센터에 이웃돕기 성금 100만원을 편지 한통과 함께 기탁했다고 밝혔다.

동두천시 중앙동 성모치과는 이번 후원뿐만 아니라 매년 명절과 연말마다 어려운 이웃을 위해 이웃돕기 성금을 기탁해오고 있다고 했다. 

편지에는 “기나긴 코로나로 지치신 분들이 많이 있을 거라고 생각합니다. 연말에 도움이 필요한 지역민들께 작은 힘이 되길 기원합니다.”라는 내용이 담겼다. 

이춘우 중앙동장은 “꾸준히 중앙동의 어려운 이웃을 위해 나눔을 실천하여 지역사회 기부문화 확산에 기여하는 성모치과에 존경과 감사의 뜻을 전한다”라고 밝혔다.
