[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 11월 18일부터 오는 19일까지 양일간 강원도는 도내 대표적 공적개발원조(ODA)사업 전문기관인 강원국제개발협력센터와 공동으로 강원도 국제도시훈련센터에서 강원도내 공무원을 대상으로 한「공적개발원조(ODA) 교육 특별과정」을 개최한다고 밝혔다.  

「공적개발원조(ODA) 교육 특별과정」은 도 및 시·군 국제협력 업무 담당 공무원을 대상으로 점차 그 규모와 중요성이 확대되고 있는 국가 ODA 사업의 이해 및 선도적 대응을 위하여 강원도 국제도시훈련센터와 강원국제개발협력센터가 공동으로 올해 처음 개설한 과정이라고 했다.   

대면 집합교육으로 진행되는 이번 교육은 포스트 코로나 시대 지속가능한 국제개발협력, 국제개발협력과 ODA, 국제개발협력 역사, 국제개발협력의 다양한 주체들, 지자체 국제개발협력 정책 및 사례, 한국의 국제개발협력과 ODA 사업 참여 방법 등을 주제로 하며, 외교부 및 코이카 등에서 근무한 현장경험이 풍부한 강사진이 대거 참여한다고 했다.  

안권용 강원도 글로벌투자통상국장은 “최근 코로나 백신 및 요소수 사태에서도 알 수 있듯이 점차 심화되어 가는 국제사회의 상호의존성뿐만 아니라 우리나라, 특히 지방정부의 미래 생존전략 차원에서도 국제개발협력 분야의 확대는 필수적”이라며 “이번 교육이 현장에서 국제업무를 담당하고 있는 공무원들에게 국제개발협력의 기본적 개념 및 세계적 동향을 체계적으로 이해하고, 공적개발원조(ODA) 사업을 통한 해외시장 개척방안에 대해 모색해 볼 수 있는 좋은 기회가 될 것으로 기대한다”라고 밝혔다.
