[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 9월 16일, 의정부시 의정부1동지역사회보장협의체는 추석을 맞아 관내 취약계층 독거노인을 위해 ‘행복꾸러미 나눔행사’를 진행했다고 밝혔다.

‘행복꾸러미 나눔행사’는 2021년 의정부1동지역사회보장협의체 특화사업으로, 가족이 없거나 있어도 찾아오지 않아 명절이 더욱 쓸쓸한 독거노인을 대상으로 조금이나마 따뜻한 온정을 전하기 위해 추진됐고, 꾸러미는 송편세트(송편, 영양 백설기, 약식)와 찹쌀 약과, 쌀국수 1박스, 위생키트(손소독제, 항균물티슈, KF94 마스크), 파스 등 3만5천원 상당의 물품으로 구성되었으며, 거동이 불편한 독거노인 50가구에 코로나19 방역수칙을 준수하여 인력을 최소화해 물품을 전달했다고 했다. 

최종복 의정부1동지역사회보장협의체 위원장은 “추석 명절을 맞아 홀로사는 어르신 댁에 방문하여 따뜻한 마음을 전할 수 있어 기쁘다 ”고 말했다.

정준모 의정부1동장은 “올 추석명절은 가족뿐 아니라 이웃과 함께 정을 나누며 다함께 풍성한 한가위가 되길 바라며, 어르신들의 건강과 행복을 기원드린다”고 밝혔다.
