한편 시는 역사 민원해소 및 노숙인 보호를 위해 희망회복종합지원센터를 중심으로 자활근로사업 참여 노숙인, 자원봉사자들이 협력하여 의정부역 일대 방역 및 물청소를 정기적으로 진행하고 있다고 했다.
