[김준호 기자 = 동해시] 동해시(시장 심규언)는 최근 반려동물과 함께 생활하고 여행하는 관광객이 점차 증가함에 따라 지난 27일 망상오토캠핑리조트 광장에서 전국 최초펫티켓 ‘드론 라이트쇼’가 성황리에 펼쳐졌다고 밝혔다.

한국관광공사 주관, (주)다온아이앤씨의 사회공헌사업으로, 펫과 함께 깨끗하고 안전한 여행문화를 조성하고자 마련됐다.

이날 광장에는 드론 라이트쇼를 관람하기 위해 시민과 관광객, 리조트 이용객, 행사 관계자 등 1,000여명이 몰려 행사 시작 전부터 많은 관심과 열기가 더해졌다. 

이날 리조트 광장에 모든 불빛이 모두 소등되었고, 수평행렬을 이루며 대기중인 300대의 드론에 장착된 조명에 빛이 점등되면서 경쾌한 리듬의 음악이 흘러나오면서 드론 무리가 약 10분간 망상해변 30~70m 상공에서 상하좌우 역동적으로 이동하며 다양한 군무를 펼치는 다이나믹한 장면은 연이은 탄성으로 이어졌다.

또, 형형색색의 불빛이 사람과 반려견 이미지를 형상화하면서 펫티켓 여행문화에 대한 메시지를 연출하는 장면은 이색 볼거리를 만들어 내며 드론쇼의 대미를 장식했다. 

(주)다온아이앤씨 양찬열 대표는 “이번 행사를 계기로 펫티켓 여행문화가 지속적으로 안착되고, 많은 관광객이 동해시를 방문하여 지역경제를 활성화하는 데 도움이 되었으면 한다”고 말했다.

이월출 문화관광과장은 “망상해변 상공에서 펼쳐진 이번 드론 라이트쇼는 가을 밤 잊지못할 감동과 추억을 선사하기에 충분했다”고 전했다.
