[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 경기도 내 한국노총 노동조합 대표자 및 조합원들이 김은혜 국민의힘 경기도지사 후보 지지를 선언했다고 밝혔다.

한국노총 경기지역 노동조합은 23일 국민의힘 경기도당사에서 노동이 존중받는 경기도를 만들어 줄 김은혜 후보를 지지한다고 전했다.

이들은 지지선언문을 통해 "김은혜 국민의힘 경기도지사 후보의 당선이 있어야만 완전한 정권교체, 완전한 승리의 퍼즐이 맞추어진다고 확신한다"며 "김은혜 후보는 피폐해진 경기도를 살리고 나아가 윤석열 대통령과 함께 대한민국의 미래를 힘차게 이끌어갈 최고의 적임자"라고 밝혔다.

이어 "우리 한국노총 경기지역 노동조합 대표자 및 조합원 일동은 도내 750만 노동자들의 염원을 담아 6월 1일 실시되는 제8대 경기도지사 선거에서 국민의힘 김은혜 후보를 적극 지지한다"고 덧붙였다.

그러면서 이들은 김 후보가 노동이 존중받는 경기도, 코로나 19로 인해 고통받는 노동자, 소상공인, 청년의 아픔 치유, 노동조합뿐 아니라 경기도 750만 노동자의 노동기본권 보호 및 권익 신장, 공정, 정의, 상식이 통하는 경기도,  ‘서울보다 나은 경기특별도!’를 만들어 경기도민의 삶을 업그레이드 등을 이뤄줄 적임자라고 강조했다.

한편 이날 지지선언에는 박대수 국회의원을 포함한 경기도내 노동조합 대표자 100여명이 참석했다고 전했다.
