[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 19일 오후 3시 강릉시지역사회보장협의체는 국립대관령치유의숲과 시청 시민사랑방에서 관내 취약계층에게 숲체험 프로그램 제공을 위한 업무협약식을 가진다고 밝혔다. 

강릉시는 이번 양 기관 업무협약을 통해 장기화된 코로나19로 지친 취약계층(노인, 장애인, 청소년 등)에게 산림욕, 숲체험 등 무료로 산림치유 프로그램을 제공할 계획이고, 이를 위해 오는 5월부터 읍면동 협의체별로 순차적으로 숲체험 프로그램 참여 어르신 등을 모집하여, 참여자들이 숲 체험에 불편이 없도록 협의체 위원과 참여자간 1:1로 매칭하여 운영한다고 전했다. 

왕종배 협의체 민간위원장은 “코로나로 인하여 지치고 힘든 일상을 보냈을 분들이 프로그램을 통해 힐링하는 시간이 되길 바라며, 앞으로도 지역이 함께하는 다양한 특화사업을 진행하겠다”고 말했다.

[Reporter Nam Sang-hoon = Northern Gyeonggi/Gangwon] On the 19th, at 3 pm, the Gangneung City Community Security Council announced that they would hold a business agreement ceremony to provide forest experience programs to the underprivileged in the city at the National Daegwallyeong Healing Forest and City Hall Citizens Sarangbang.

Gangneung City plans to provide free forest healing programs such as forest bathing and forest experience to vulnerable groups (the elderly, the disabled, youth, etc.) who are exhausted from the prolonged COVID-19 through this business agreement. It is said that senior citizens participating in the forest experience program are recruited sequentially for each, and 1:1 matching between the members of the council and the participants so that the participants do not have any inconvenience in the forest experience is operated.

Wang Jong-bae, chairman of the private sector council, said, "I hope that the program will provide a healing time for those who have had a tiring and difficult daily life due to the corona, and we will continue to carry out various specialized projects with the region."
