[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 3월 2일 강원도와 횡성군은 강원도청에서 오네산업㈜, ㈜케이프라이드, ㈜펌프킨 3개 기업과 투자협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

이번에 협약을 체결하는 3개 기업은 횡성군 우천일반산업단지, 우천제2농공단지, 공근농공단지에 총 474억 원을 투자하여 제조시설을 구축하고 130명의 지역인력을 신규 고용할 예정으로, 지역경제 활성화 및 일자리 창출에 큰 활력을 불어넣을 것으로 기대된다고 했다. 

국내 복귀기업인 오네산업(주)은 산업용 필름을 제조하는 기업으로 베트남에 진출하여 매출액 258억원(2020년 기준)을 달성한 유망기업으로, 향후 2025년까지 베트남 2개 공장을 처분함과 동시에 횡성 우천일반산업단지에 215억원을 투자하여 생산 공장을 설립하고, 50명의 지역인력을 고용할 계획이라고 전했다. 

친환경에 대한 수요증가와 정부 정책변화에 맞춰, 자연 산화하는 특수필름을 개발하는 등 선도적인 기술력과 탄탄한 국내외 판로를 통해 시장 경쟁력을 확보해 나갈 예정이라고 했다.
