[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 강원도가 산업단지 중소기업에 재직하고 있는 청년에게 월 5만원의 교통비를 지원한다고 밝혔다.

교통여건이 열악한 산업단지에 근무하는  중소기업 재직 청년층의 교통비 부담을 덜어주고 산업단지 청년층 유입촉진 및 일자리 미스매치 해소를 위해 만 15~34세 청년근로자를 대상으로 올해 말까지교통비를 바우처 형식으로 지원한다고 했다. 

지원 대상자로 선정 시 신용·체크카드로 바우처 금액 월 5만원 한도 내에서 버스, 지하철, 택시, 자가용(유류, 전기료) 등 교통비로 사용할 수 있으며, 군 복무 기간 만큼 최장 5년간 상한 연령이 연장된다고 했다.  

지원을 희망하는 청년은 대상 산단을 확인 후 한국산업단지공단 청년교통비 지원사업 시스템에 접속하여 신청할 수 있으며, 예산 범위 내에서 지원대상자 선정 후 신청자와 카드사에 통보된다고 전했다. 

김성림 도 청년어르신일자리과장은 “청년이 교통여건에 구애받지 않고 일 할 수 있는 환경을 만들기 위해 더욱 힘쓰고, 청년근로자와 사업장 모두에게 큰 보탬이 될 수 있도록 사업 추진에 만전을 기하겠다.”고 밝혔다.
