[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 11월 5일부터 12월 17일까지 동두천시 평생교육원 시립도서관에서는 동두천시 작은도서관 독서문화행사인 ‘행복한 시 낭송’외 2개 강좌를 운영할 예정이라고 밝혔다.

어수정 작은도서관에서 성인을 대상으로는 국내외 시인들의 시 작품을 낭송하며 자신을 치유하고 자신감을 갖게 하는 '행복한 시 낭송'이 운영되며, 남산모루 작은도서관에서는 초등학교 1∼3학년 대상으로 영미문화의 하나인 할로윈을 배워보는 '할로윈 데이를 즐겨라!'와 동화책 속 캐릭터를 만들어 보는 '동화속 캐릭터 만들기'강좌가 진행될 예정이라고 했다.

도서관 관계자는 “이번에 운영될 독서문화행사를 통해 작은도서관이 활성화되고 지역주민에게 독서문화체험의 장을 제공하는 뜻깊은 기회가 되길 바란다”고 말했다.

독서문화행사 접수기간은 지난 10월 26일부터 11월 4일까지이며 도서관 홈페이지 또는 전화를 통해 선착순 신청하면 되고, 독서문화행사와 관련하여 궁금한 사항은 시립도서관으로 문의하면 된다고 했다.
