[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 8월 17일부터 8월 20일까지 동두천 평생교육원 시립도서관에서는 관내 초등학생 1학년부터 3학년 어린이 대상 여름독서교실을 남산모루 작은도서관에서 운영한다고 밝혔다.

이번 여름독서교실은 '동화 속 보드게임 즐기기' 주제로 동화 속에 등장하는 다양한 주인공에 대해 서로 이야기를 나누고 동화와 관련된 보드게임을 직접 해보면서 친구들과 소통하고 즐거움을 나누는 수업으로 진행되고, 유아 및 학부모 도서가 비치되어 있고 아동독서코너, 야외테라스 티타임 공간 및 영·유아 프로그램 운영이 가능한 유아방이 있는 남산모루 작은도서관에서 철저한 방역 수칙을 준수하며 10인 미만의 소규모 인원으로 운영될 예정이라고 했다.

도서관 관계자는 “이번 독서교실을 통해 여름방학을 알차게 보내고 싶은 어린이들에게 도서관에서 생각주머니를 키울 수 있는 소중한 기회가 될 것으로 기대된다”고 전했다. 

접수기간은 지난 7월 30일부터 8월 10일까지 선착순으로 도서관 홈페이지 또는 전화를 통해 접수하면 되며 기타 궁금한 사항은 시립도서관으로 문의하면 된다고 했다.
