[김현우 기자 = 경기북부] 지난 3일 양주시 은현면 행정복지센터 3층 회의실에서 은현면 농촌마을 공동체와 농촌마을 공동체 사회적 활동을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

협약에 따라 농촌마을 공동체는 6월 첫째 주부터 12월 마지막 주까지 주1회 관내 방치된 영농폐기물과 생활 쓰레기를 집중 수거해 농촌 환경 개선에 기여할 예정이며 은현면은 공동체 활동에 필요한 인건비, 운영비 등을 지원할 계획이라고 했다.

이후인 대표는 “아름다운 농촌 만들기를 위해 봉사 기회를 준 박흥수 면장님을 비롯한 관계공무원에게 감사하며 연말까지 즐거운 마음으로 활동에 임하겠다”고 전했다.

박흥수 은현면장은 “아름답고 쾌적한 농촌 만들기를 위해 솔선수범의 자세로 사업에 참여해주신 농촌마을 공동체에 진심으로 감사하다”며 “공동체 활동을 통해 우리 면의 거리환경이 정비됨은 물론 장기간 방치된 영농폐기물 수거를 통해 환경보호에 크게 기여할 것으로 기대한다”며 소감을 밝혔다.
