이날 위생용품을 지원받은 관내 이주여성은 “소득이 적어 매달 위생용품 구입이 부담스러웠는데 이주여성을 세심하게 배려해주셔서 감사하다”며 “이번 지원이 가뭄에 단비 같은 희망을 주었다”고 말했다. 

박흥수 면장은 “이번 취약계층 여성 위생용품 지원이 우리 시 여성친화도시 조성에 조금이나마 기여하기를 기대한다”며 “앞으로도 취약계층 여성들의 복지서비스 공백 해소를 위해 앞장서겠다”고 밝혔다.
