[김현우 기자 = 경기북부] 지난 30일 (주)영남F&S는 은현면행정복지센터에 방문해 은현노인회에 훈제닭 10,000팩(1,200만원 상당)을 기부했다고 밝혔다. 

이날 기부한 훈제닭은 코로나19와 더위에 지친 어르신들이 건강히 여름을 날 수 있도록 관내 20개 경로당에 전달될 예정이라고 했다.

안영남 대표는 “무더운 날씨에 조금이나마 힘이 되기를 바라는 마음에 기부하게 됐다”며 “어르신들이 여름철을 건강하고 무탈하게 보내시는 데 도움이 되길 바란다”고 전했다.

정광국 은현분회장은 “모두가 어려운 시기에 나눔을 실천해 주셔서 대단히 감사하다”며 “지역사회에 선한 영향력이 확대될 수 있도록 앞장서겠다”고 말했다. 

한편 ㈜영남F&S는 관내 선암2리 남·여 경로당과 1사 1경로당 협약을 맺고 경로당 어르신들의 복지향상을 위한 지속적인 지원을 약속했다고 밝혔다.
