예방중심의 포괄적 구강건강 관리를 통한 초등학생의 구강건강 실현 기반 조성을 위해 실시하는 치과주치의사업은 경기도 내 초등학교 4~5학년 재학생 및 만 10~11세 학교 밖 청소년, 미등록 이주아동을 대상으로 진행되며, 사업수행 기관은 관내 지정 치과 의료기관은 58개소라고 말했다.
