[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 12월 24일 오후 2시 정선군은 군청 대회의실에서 정선군 청년정책협의체 창립회의를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

정선군 청년정책협의체는 청년층의 다양한 의견을 수렴하고 청년이 정책결정에 직접 참여할 수 있는 기회를 제공하고자 구성되었고, 이날 창립회의에서 협의체 위원 28명에게 위촉장 전달과 함께 정선군 청년정책 현황 설명, 위원들의 청년정책에 대한 다양한 의견을 담은 종이비행기 날리기 등의 순으로 진행되었으며, 내년 1월부터 본격 운영에 들어갈 계획이라고 했다.

정선군 청년정책협의체는 지난 11월 공개모집 및 유관기관 추천을 통하여 농업인, 직장인, 자영업자 등 다양한 분야에서 활동하고 있는 만 18세 이상 45세 이하의 청년으로 구성하였고, 협의체는 교육, 일자리, 주거, 문화, 복지 등 다양한 분야에 대한 청년들의 의견 제안 및 모니터링 등을 통해 청년관련 정책 수립에 참여할 예정이라고 전했다.

최승준 정선군수는 "협의체가 민관협치 파트너이자 청년정책의 주체로서 적극적 활동을 펼쳐주길 당부하고 청년들의 어려움을 해결하기 위한 현실적 대책 마련을 위한 노력과 상호 유기적 협력을 위한 지원을 아끼지 않겠다"고 말했다.
