현재 춘천지역에는 벤처기업 입주공간으로 강원테크노파크, 춘천바이오산업진흥원, 춘천도시첨단문화산업단지, 강원대학교 창업보육센터 등이 있으나 대부분 입주가 완료되어 기업 입주 공간이 부족하고 타 지역 소재 기업유치 시 공간 제공의 제약이 있는 실정이라고 했다.
