[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 의정부시 호원2동은 10월 21일 호원2동체육회가 호원2동 취약계층을 위한 성금 30만 원을 기탁, 100일간 사랑릴레이에 가장 먼저 동참했다고 밝혔다.

호원2동체육회는 지난 9월 추석을 맞아 명절 선물세트를 기탁하여 어려운 이웃들에게 나눔의 손길을 전한 바 있으며 이번에도 100일간 사랑릴레이 배턴 잇기의 뜻깊은 시작에 함께 했다고 전했다. 

박성원 호원2동체육회 회장은 “코로나19로 모두가 어려운 시기이지만, 이번 나눔을 통해 어려운 이웃들에게 조금이나마 보탬이 되었으면 좋겠다.”라고 밝혔다.

김학숙 호원2동 복지지원과장은 “100일간 사랑릴레이에 가장 먼저 동참해주신 호원2동 체육회 관계자분들께 진심으로 감사드린다.”며  “뜻깊은 마음을 꼭 필요한 이웃에게 잘 전달될 수 있도록 노력하겠다.”고 말했다.
