[김현우 기자 = 경기북부] 지난 3일 박윤국 시장은 기업애로를 청취하고 기업인의 노고를 격려하기 위해 영북면 소재의 ㈜세종몰을 방문했다고 밝혔다. 

㈜세종몰은 세계적으로 유명한 ‘하고로모 분필’을 생산하던 일본 ㈜하고로모문구의 기술과 시설을 인수받아 탄산분필 및 문구류를 제조하는 기업이라고 전했다.

탄산형광분필은 뛰어난 가시성과 높은 경제성을 가지고 있어 국내외에서 널리 사용하고 있으며, 벤처기업 인증과 ISO 등 각종 인증까지 획득해 그 품질을 인정받았다고 했다.

이날 현장방문은 박윤국 시장, 손세화 시의회 의장 등이 함께 하였으며, 제품 소개 및 공장 신축 이전에 따른 건의사항 대한 간담회와 공장제조시설 견학 등으로 진행됐다고 했다.

신형석 대표는 “처음 시장에 정착하기까지 많은 어려움이 있었지만 현재는 ‘메이드 인 코리아’ 태그를 붙여 전 세계에 수출하고 있다.”라며, “미국 아마존에서도 분필 판매 1위를 기록하고 있는데 여기서 멈추지 않고 세계적인 종합 문구 회사로 성장하기 위해 노력하겠다.”고 말했다. 

박윤국 시장은 “대표님의 그동안의 노고에 대해 격려를 표한다. 포천에 이렇게 훌륭한 기업이 있다는 것이 자랑스럽다.”라며, “앞으로 ㈜세종몰이 글로벌 기업으로 성장할 수 있도록 최선을 다해 지원하겠다.”고 밝혔다. 

손세화 의장은 “시와 의회가 협조해 기업들이 더 크게 성장할 수 있도록 아낌없는 노력을 기울이겠다.”고 말했다.
