[김준호 기자 = 동해시] 동해시(시장 심규언)는 지난 7일 ‘지식·공감의 날’을 맞아 깨끗한 공직사회와 시민에게 신뢰받는 시정구현을 위해 심규언 동해시장을 비롯해 직원 300여 명이 참석한 가운데 청렴실천 의지를 다졌다고 밝혔다.

이날 교육은 이근철 밝은 인문사회연구소 대표가 강사로 초청되어 공직가치 혁신을 위한 공직자의 이해충돌 방지법, 청탁금지법, 갑질예방을 주제로 진행됐다.

지난 5월 19일 시행된 공직자의 이해충돌 방지법과 관련, 내부정보 등을 이용한 부동산 투기 등 공직자의 부당한 사익추구 행위를 금지하고 이해충돌상황에 대한 다양한 사례를 들어 교육을 실시했다.

심규언 동해시장은 “시민이 체감할 수 있는 청렴한 공직문화를 확립하고, 시민의 신뢰를 회복하여 동해시가 청렴 우수기관으로 평가될 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다.”고 말했다.
