[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 캠코(한국자산관리공사)는 7월 21일 캠코인재개발원(충남 아산시) 대강당에서 전국 60명의 청년과 함께하는 ｢캠코 ESG 서포터즈 발대식｣을 개최했다고 밝혔다.

‘캠코 ESG 서포터즈’는 청년들의 ESG 경영 참여 기회를 마련하고, 청년들의 ESG 역량 강화를 지원하기 위해 지난 6월 24일부터 2주일간의 모집 절차를 거쳐 전국의 청년 60명을 선발했다.

전국 5대* 권역별 10개팀으로 구성‧운영되는 이번 ‘캠코 ESG 서포터즈’는 별도로 구축되는 메타버스 공간에서 캠코 ESG 콘텐츠 제작 및 홍보 등 서포터즈 팀별 활동을 펼칠 예정이다.

이날 발대식 행사에는 신흥식 캠코 부사장과 ‘캠코 ESG 서포터즈’로 선발된 청년 60명 등이 참석했으며, 서포터즈 위촉장 수여 및 에코 웰컴키트 증정, 친환경 우산을 이용한 ESG퍼포먼스 등이 진행됐다. 

캠코는 앞으로 3개월간 ESG 서포터즈 청년들에게 친환경 체험 프로그램 및 ESG 전문가 교육,  ESG 컨텐츠 제작 멘토링 등을 제공한다.

아울러, ESG 아이디어 경진대회를 개최하여 우수작을 선정하고 우수활동팀에 대해 포상할 계획이다.

또한, 캠코는 ESG 서포터즈로 위촉된 청년들 중 희망자를 대상으로 10명을 별도 선발해 ‘청년참여혁신단’을 구성하고, 캠코의 혁신계획 수립시 청년 아이디어 수렴을 위한 소통 채널로 운영해 나갈 계획이다.

캠코 ESG 서포터즈로 위촉된 이영은 씨는 “이번 캠코 ESG 서포터즈 활동을 통해 환경과 인간이 공존하고, 지역사회와 기업이 서로 상생할 수 있는 건강한 사회를 만들어 나갈 수 있도록 최선을 다 하겠다”고 참가 소감을 밝혔다.

신흥식 캠코 부사장은 “금번 캠코 ESG 서포터즈 활동을 통해 MZ세대들의 적극적인 ESG 경영 참여가 기대된다”며, “앞으로도 캠코는 정부정책의 파트너로서, ESG 서포터즈 청년들을 포함한 다양한 이해관계자들의 의견을 수렴하여 ESG 경영 확산에 앞장설 것”이라고 밝혔다. 

한편, 캠코는 지난해부터 ESG 경영의 추진동력 확보를 위해 사장을 위원장으로 하는 ESG 경영위원회와 ESG 전담조직을 설치하여 운영하고 있다.

In addition, an ESG Idea Contest will be held to select the best works and to reward the best teams.

In addition, Camco plans to form a ‘Youth Participation Innovation Group’ by selecting 10 people who wish from among the young people appointed as ESG supporters, and to operate it as a communication channel for collecting young people’s ideas when establishing Camco’s innovation plan.
