[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 5월 4일부터 6일까지, 동두천시는 코로나19 발생으로 시작된 비대면 사업인 ‘치매가족 힐링프로그램 휴드림 꾸러미’를 지난 2021년에 이어 2022년에도 시작하여 각 대상 가정에 1차 휴드림 꾸러미를 전달했다고 밝혔다. 

1차 휴드림 꾸러미는 오는 5월 8일 어버이날을 맞이하여 구성된 꾸러미로, '카네이션 꽃', '화분', '흙', '마사토' 등을 제공하여 직접 카네이션을 화분에 심어 가정 내에서 원예 및 여가활동에 참여할 수 있도록 하였다고 전했다. 

프로그램에 참여 중인 한 가족은 “치매환자만을 위해 일상을 지내며 지쳐가는 상황에 기분 전환할 수 있는 계기가 되었다”며 큰 만족감을 표했다고 했다.

이승찬 동두천시 보건소장은 “치매가정의 고립감 및 심리적 부담을 조금이나마 덜어줄 것이라고 기대한다”며 “치매환자뿐만 아니라 치매가족을 위한 정서적지지 프로그램을 지속적으로 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
