[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 9일 오후6시 NGN뉴스가 주최한 ’제2차 선택 2022 가평군수 예비후보 초청 토론회’가 음악역1939에서 개최됐다. 

 

해당 토론회는 8일, 9일 양일에 걸쳐 나눠서 진행됐으며, 제2차 토론회에 참석한 인원은 총 6명으로 강태만 예비후보(무소속), 김용기 예비후보(국민의힘), 서태원 예비후보(국민의힘), 송기욱 예비후보(더불어민주당), 양희석 예비후보(국민의힘), 오구환 예비후보(국민의힘) 등이 참석했다.

 

토론회는 ① 예비후보자 모두발언, ② 예비후보자가 생각하는 가평군 현안문제 ③ 현안질의-낮은 재정자립도, ④ 현안질의-인구감소 ⑤ 군민질의 ⑥ 주제토론 순서로 진행됐다.

 

▶지난 8일과 같이 가평군수 예비후보자들은 모두발언을 간단히 발언한 후 예비후보자들이 생각하는 가평군에 대한 현안문제에 대해 의견을 나누었다.

 

송기욱 예비후보는 “경춘국도와 GTX-B 현안이 중요하다. 가평군은 여태 46도 6번 국도하나로 몇 십년동안 이용했다. 경춘국도를 빨리 유치시키고, GTX-B노선이 송도에서 마석까지 오는 것을 가평을 거쳐 춘천까지 갈 수 있도록 연결하겠다.”고 말했다.

강태만 예비후보는 “6개 읍면에 대한 지역경제가 너무 낙후되어 있다. 현재 읍면장이 사업을 집행할 수 있는 예산은 최대 2000만원이지만 가평군수가 되면 그 예산을 5억으로 올리고, 50평이하의 건축허과를 이행할 권한을 일임하겠다.”고 말했다.

 

김용기 예비후보는 ”경춘국도가 최대 현안이다. 가평군민들이 원하는 국도로 만들 수 있도록 상부와 최대한 협의를 하겠다“고 말했다

 

또한 “인구감소가 문제이다. 이를 해결하기 위해 교통시설 확보와 각종 규제완화가 필요하다. GTX-B 노선 조정과 대성리까지만 오는 버스노선도를 가평까지 올 수 있도록 추진하겠다”고 말했다.

 

이어 “장사시설은 필요하다. 하지만 가평군민들은 공동형 장사시설이 아닌 단독형 장사시설을 원하고 있기에 군민들과 최대한 협의해 장사시설을 추진할 것이다”고 말했다.

 

양희석 예비후보는 “제2경춘국도 노선이 기존을 따라가면 가평읍과 청평면이 경제가 침체될 것이기에 재조성이 필요하다. 또 각종 규제완화와 인구증가 정책이 시급하다.”고 말했다.

오구환 예비후보는 “아파트 1만여채를 수용할 수 있는 오폐수 시설 증대가 중요하다. 환경부와 국토부를 적극 방문해 해당 사업에 허가를 받고 미래 인구 소멸을 방지하고 인구를 늘리겠다”고 말했다.

김용기 예비후보는 “31개 시군 중 재정자립도가 꼴찌에서 2번째이다. 상수도 보호구역 군사 보호구역 등 각종 규제가 많아 기업이나 공장이 들어 설 수 없다. 규제를 풀어 재정자립도가 경기도에서 중위권에 드는 가평을 만들겠다”고 말했다.

또한, ”환경부 장관을 한달에 한번씩 상수원을 관리하는 가평군에 초도순시하게끔 만들겠다”고 덧붙였다.

 

서태원 예비후보는 “윤석열 정부는 지방분권정책을 강력히 추진할 것이며, 이로 인해 지방 제정이 좋아질 것이라 예측한다. 불필요한 예산들을 없애고, 예산에 대한 누수를 막겠다.”고 말했다.

 

이어 ”가평군은 예산이 부족하다. 이 부분에 대해 중앙정부와 경기도를 방문해 예산을 확보하겠다“고 강조했다.
