[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 강릉시는 일하는 저소득층의 자립과 탈빈곤을 지원하기 위해 자산형성지원사업(희망저축계좌Ⅰ·Ⅱ)참여자를 모집한다고 밝혔다.

‘희망저축계좌Ⅰ’은 일하는 생계·의료수급자를 대상으로 매월 10만 원 저축시 근로소득장려금 30만 원을 지원해 3년 만기시 최소 1,440만 원이 적립된다고 했다. 

‘희망저축계좌Ⅱ’는 일하는 주거·교육급여수급자 및 차상위계층을 대상으로 매월 10만 원 저축시 근로소득장려금 10만 원을 지원해 3년 만기시 최소 720만 원이 적립된다고 했다.

자산형성지원사업 신청은 오는 6일부터 주소지 읍면동 주민센터에 직접 방문해 신청하면 되고 7월부터는 청년층 자산형성을 위한 청년내일저축계좌 신규 참여자를 모집할 예정이라고 전했다.  

강릉시 관계자는“코로나19 장기화로 인한 어려운 상황에서 자산형성지원사업을 통해 저소득층의 안정적인 자립 및 목돈마련을 위한 좋은 기회가 될 것이다.”라고 말했다.
