[김현우 기자 = 양주] 양주시가 9일부터 오는 27일까지 2023년도 신중년 경력형 일자리사업 참여자를 모집한다고 밝혔다.

신중력 경력형 일자리사업은 만 50세 이상 70세 미만의 신중년 퇴직전문인력의 경험과 전문성을 활용, 지역사회가 필요로 하는 사회서비스를 제공해 신중년의 지역사회 역할을 강화하고 경제활동 재진입을 지원하기 위해 양주시가 지난 2019년부터 추진하는 일자리 사업이다.

양주시는 과학영농시설 운영매니저, 도시농업매니저, 작은도서관 매니저, 회암사지 박물관·장욱진미술관 운영지원, 사회적경제조직 ‘신중년지원단’ 등 6개 분야 총 33명을 모집한다.

지원자격은 1953년부터 1973년 출생자에 해당하는 만 50세 이상 70세 미만의 미취업자인 양주시민으로 해당 업무 관련 경력 3년 이상이거나 사업별 자격요건을 갖춘 자이다.

참여를 희망하는 시민은 신청서를 작성해 이메일로 온라인 신청하거나 양주시 일자리경제과로 방문, 우편 접수하면 된다.

양주시 관계자는 “과거 취업 경험을 바탕으로 민간일자리로의 이동을 지원하기 위한 신중년 일자리사업을 내실있게 운영하고 신규 일자리를 적극 발굴해 퇴직 중년층이 고용시장에 재진입할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
