[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 포천시는 지난해 국·공유지 숨은 땅 찾기 사업을 통해 토지대장과 지적도 등 지적공부에 등록되지 않은 숨어 있는 땅 123필지를 지적공부에 등록했다고 밝혔다.

이는 1910년 토지·임야조사사업 당시 누락 된 미등록 토지 및 도로, 구거, 하천 등 비과세 미등록 토지를 지적공부에 등록하여 토지분쟁 해소 및 국가재정을 확충하고자 시작한 사업이라고 했다.

지난해 창수면, 이동면, 영북면 3개 지역에 대해 미등록 토지 123필지를 등록사항 정정, 신규등록, 자료정비 등을 통해 지적공부에 등록했고, 올해도 관인면, 화현면, 선단동 3개 지역에 대해 숨은 국·공유지를 지속적으로 조사·발굴할 예정이라고 전했다.

포천시 관계자는 “국·공유지 숨은 땅 찾기 사업을 통해 지난해는 9억 6천여만 원 상당의 공공 재산을 확보했으며, 올해도 사업을 추진하여 누락된 도로, 구거, 하천 등 비과세 토지를 지적공부에 등록할 계획이다.”라고 말했다.
