관내 수변구역 및 특별대책지역 내의 일일 처리능력 50㎥미만의 개인하수처리시설 2,917개소에 대하여 전문성이 부족한 건물주나 임차인을 대신해 전문관리업체가 실태조사 및 기술지원을 하는 사업을 추진하며, 

상반기 실태조사결과 관리 상태가 매우 나쁜 중점관리대상시설에 대하여  하반기에 중점적인 기술지원에 나설 계획이다.

또한, 군은 수변구역 및 특별대책지역의 소규모개인하수처리시설 소유자가 시설의 노후화·고장 등으로 개선이 필요하거나 공공하수관로로 유입이 가능하여 보조금을 신청할 경우 최대 800만원까지 지원하게 된다.

올 2월에는 관내 일일 처리능력 50㎥이상의 대용량 개인하수처리시설 소유 또는 관리자에게 「하수도법」 준수사항을 공문으로 안내하였으며, 매월 집중적으로 지도·점검을 하여 관련법 위반사항이 확인될 경우에는 행정처분을 할 계획이다.

또한, 연 1회 이상 의무적으로 정화조 내부청소를 실시하도록 안내문을  정기적으로 발송하여 수질오염을 사전에 예방할 방침이다.
