[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 23일 김상회 전 청와대 행정관(수원특례시발전연구소장)이 더불어민주당 이재명 대통령 후보(전 경기도지사)를 수원시 팔달구 소재 수원역로데오거리 유세 현장에서 만나 반갑게 악수하며 응원했다고 전했다.

이재명 대통령 후보는 이날 경기도 31개 시군 전역을 도는 '매타버스(매주 타는 민생버스)' 일정을 수원시 지역에서 시작했으며, 지난 12일 수원시장 출마를 선언한 바 있는 김상회 전 행정관은 수원역로데오거리에 도착한 이재명 대통령 후보를 맞아 악수하며 “수원시장에 출마했다”고 인사하며 반갑게 눈을 맞췄다.

이재명 후보는 이날 유세에서 “경기도민께서 수원시민께서 애써주셨기 때문에 저 이재명이 경기도를 대표하는 대한민국의 유력한 정치인이 됐다”면서 “편 가르지 않는 통합 정치, 진영을 따지지 않는 통합 정부, 이재명 정부가 하겠다”고 각오를 다졌다고 했다.

한편, 김상회 전 행정관은 현재 수원특례시발전연구소장, 전국특례시시장협의회 특별보좌관, GKL사회공헌재단 이사로 활동하고 있다고 했다.
