[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 17일 김상회 전 청와대 행정관은 더불어민주당 경기도당 대회의실에서 진행된 평화경제포럼 지지선언에서 “지속가능한 한반도의 평화와 모두를 위한 경제 성장을 위해 더불어민주당 이재명 대선후보를 지지한다”고 밝혔다.

평화경제포럼을 대표해 46명이 참석한 이날 지지선언에서 지지선언문을 낭독한 정원오 평화경제포럼 공동대표는 “지금 우리는 코로나 팬데믹 속에서 생태위기 등 세계적 위기 현상을 목도하고 있다”며 “탄소제로, 2차전지와 자율주행, 메타버스, AI와 스마트시티, 플랫폼 경제와 데이터 댐 등 4차 산업혁명 시대의 변혁 과제를 우리 사회에 던져주고 있는 소위 대전환 시대”라고 말했다.

이어 “대전환 시기에 가장 중요한 가치는 평화”라며 “남북갈등을 해소하고 아시아를 넘어 세계 평화를 지향해야 하는 시기에 평화를 위협하는 발언으로 안보에 찬물을 끼얹고 선거에 이용하려는 행위는 결코 용납될 수 없다”고 말했다.

마지막으로 “우리 국민은 늘 위기에 강하다. 언제나 위기를 기회로 만들면서 성장하고 성취해왔다”며 “이번 대전환도 마찬가지로 이재명 후보의 신경제는 우리나라를 세계 5강의 자리에 올려놓을 것”이라고 외쳤다.

이날 지지선언에서 사회를 맡은 김상회 평화경제포럼 운영위원장(전 청와대 행정관)은 “대한민국의 축소판인 경기도에서 이번 대선승리를 위해 마지막까지 최선을 다하자는 마음으로 지지를 선언하게 됐다”며 “경기도 곳곳의 조직을 모아 대선 승리를 위해 끝까지 함께 할 것이며 한반도의 평화를 위해 수원에서부터 제대로 바람을 일으키겠다”고 덧붙였다.

김상회 전 행정관은 문재인 정부의 ‘청와대 대통령비서실 자치발전비서관실 행정관’을 역임한 지방자치 전문가이며, 최근 전국특례시시장협의회 특별보좌관, 더불어민주당 정책위원회 부의장, 더불어민주당 경기도당 선거대책위 선거대책본부 공동본부장으로 활동하고 있다고 했다.

안룡초등학교, 수원중학교, 수원공업고등학교, 서울신학대 신학과를 졸업했으며, 경기대 일반대학원 행정학 박사과정을 수료했다고 전했다.

한국민예총 수원지부장, 원천천물사랑시민모임 대표, 경기국제인형극제 집행위원장·총감독, 녹색자치경기연대 상임대표 등 거쳐 2010년 경기도의회 의원, 더불어민주당 경기도당 정책실장, 제19대 대선 경기도국민주권선대위 전략기획실장 등을 역임했다고 했다.
