[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 4월 11일 김상회 수원시장 예비후보가 네 번째 주제 ‘청년성장플랫폼’ 사업 추진 장소인 수원역 인근 폐쇄된 성매매집결지에서(팔달구 향교로1번길) 공약릴레이 네 번째 발걸음을 이어갔다고 전했다.  

김상회 수원시장 예비후보는 “수원이 지속가능한 사람중심도시로 가기 위해서는 제2성장동력 인력이 필요하고, 그 인력을 키워내고 배출할 플랫폼이 필요하다”며 청년창업복합문화센터를 건립해 청년성장플랫폼으로 활용하겠다고 밝혔다.

‘수원의 미래는 곧 청년들의 역할에서 비롯되는 만큼 청년들이 청춘의 꿈을 펼칠 공간을 마련해주는 것이 기성세대의 역할’이라는 김 후보는 창업을 돕는 창업지원센터와 실패를 극복하고 재기를 돕는 실패연구소, 마음 놓고 미래의 청사진을 그려갈 안정된 주거공간인 청년레지던시, 청춘의 다양한 문화를 만끽할 수 있는 문화공간 등이 들어설 청년창업복합문화센터가 바로 청년성장플랫폼이라고 소개했다고 했다.     

청년창업복합문화센터 건립 장소로 수원역세권을 선택한 김상회 예비후보는 수원역은 청년들이 가장 많이 모이는 장소이자 수원 인근 10개가 넘는 대학의 통학버스가 정차하는 곳으로 접근성이 뛰어난 장점을 가지고 있어 대중교통을 이용하는 청년들에게는 최적의 장소라고 설명했다고 했다. 

김상회 예비후보는 또 세대간, 계층간 소득 불균형에서 오는 소득격차를 해소하기 위해 맞춤형 일자리컨트롤타워도 설립할 계획이며, 현재 수원시가 추진 중인 사업에 복지와 일자리사업을 융합한 시스템으로 바꿔서 수원시민 각자의 상황에 맞는 맞춤 일자리를 찾는데 실질적인 도움을 줄 계획이라고 전했다.

김상회 예비후보는 “청년창업복합문화센터는 상상캠퍼스와 같이 연동하고 차후 조성될 K-실리콘밸리, 사이언스밸리, 마이스산업을 통한 국제문화도시 추진 인력이 충원되는 베이스캠프로서의 역할을 톡톡히 할 것”이라고 미래인력 비전도 제시했다고 전했다.  

자신을 청년세대에 대한 애정이 각별한 사람이라고 밝힌 김상회 후보는 수원의 미래를 견인하는 청년세대가 수원시민이라는 자부심을 갖도록 청년들을 위한 다양한 정책을 꾸준히 펼쳐가겠다고 약속했다.     

한편 김상회 예비후보는 문재인 대통령을 보필해 ‘청와대 대통령비서실 자치발전비서관실 행정관’을 역임했으며 현재 대한민국특례시시장협의회 특별보좌관, 수원특례시발전연구소 소장을 맡고 있다고 했다. 

안룡초등학교, 수원중학교, 수원공업고등학교 건축과, 서울신학대 신학과를 졸업했으며, 경기대 일반대학원 행정학 박사과정을 수료했다고 전했다.

한국민예총 수원지부장, 원천천물사랑시민모임 대표, 경기국제인형극제 집행위원장·총감독, 녹색자치경기연대 상임대표 등 거쳐 2010년 경기도의회 의원, 더불어민주당 경기도당 정책실장, 제19대 대선 경기도국민주권선대위 전략기획실장, 제20대 대선 더불어민주당 경기도당 선대위 선거대책본부 공동부본부장 등을 역임했다고 했다.
