[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 7~8월 두달 동안 의정부시 드림스타트는 드림스타트 20가구를 대상으로 ‘가족상담 MBTI’ 프로그램을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

성격유형 검사(MBTI)를 통해 나와 가족의 성격을 알아보고, 이를 토대로 서로의 다름을 인정하고 수용하는 시간을 가지며, 더불어 양육자는 아동의 문제행동에 대한 객관화 및 적절한 양육 지도를 교육받아 ‘가족 공감 및 자녀와의 소통’을 목적으로 하는 프로그램이라고 했다. 

20가구(56명)의 가구를 대상으로 총 2회기를 진행했고, 1회에 1시간 30분 동안 한 가족만을 대상으로 상담을 진행했으며, 또한 사회복지법인 굿네이버스 서울동부지부와 연계하여 전문상담사 인력을 제공받아 양질의 상담서비스를 제공했다고 전했다.

한 대상자의 어머니는 “그동안 몰랐던 아이의 성향과 마음을 알게 되어서 앞으로 아이를 양육하는 데 많은 도움이 될 것 같다.”고 말했다.

안병용 의정부시장은 “코로나19 장기화로 인해 가족의 중요성과 가정 내 부모의 역할이 더욱 커지고 있다. 이번 교육을 통해 드림스타트 가족들이 서로를 이해하고 소통할 수 있는 계기가 되기를 바란다.”고 밝혔다.
