이번 대출이자 지원 사업은 작년 무주택 신혼부부에게 전세자금 대출 잔액의 1.2%에 해당하는 이자를 지원하였던 전세자금 대출이자 지원 사업에서 확대하여 매입자금과 실납부 금액을 지원하는 방향으로 추진하는 것으로 관내 신혼부부들의 주거에 대한 경제적 부담을 크게 덜어줄 것으로 기대된다고 했다.

지원 대상은 부부 모두 가평군에 거주, 혼인신고일 기준 7년 이내, 기준 중위소득 200% 이하, 가평군 소재 주택의 전세자금 또는 매입자금 용도로 금융기관에서 대출을 받은, 무주택 또는 1주택 가구이며, 다만 기초생활수급자, 공공임대주택 거주자, 국가 또는 경기도에서 유사한 사업의 시행으로 중복지원을 받는 자 등은 제외된다고 전했다.
