[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 23일 동두천시 중앙동행정복지센터는 복지사각지대 발굴시스템으로 추출된 52가구에 사회복지서비스 신청 안내문을 발송했다고 밝혔다. 

안내문 발송은 최근 코로나19의 전국적인 확산으로 인해 가정방문을 통한 대면조사가 사실상 불가능한 현실을 반영한 것이며, 위기상황에 놓여 있을 것으로 예상되는 모든 가정의 실제 어려움을 파악하기 위한 실질적인 조치이며, 특별히 이번 안내문에는 공과금 체납, 실직, 질병 등 일상생활과 관련된 주요 위기상황을 상세하게 기술함으로써 향후 복지위기가구에 필요한 공공·민간 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 기반을 조성하였다고 했다.  

이춘우 중앙동장은 “오는 11월 5일까지 제5차 복지사각지대 발굴시스템을 충실하게 운영하여 작은 어려움이라도 확인된 주민들의 애로사항 해소에 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
