[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 9일 직장.공장새마을운동양주시협의회는 양주시 회천노인복지관을 방문하여 라면 50박스를 기부했다고 밝혔다.

꾸준히 이웃사랑을 실천해오고 있는 직장.공장새마을운동양주시협의회는 양주시 회천노인복지관에 어르신들을 위한 책, 의류, 먹거리, 빵 등 다양한 물품을 후원했다고 했다. 

이날 전달식에 참여한 오수영 회장은 “명절을 앞두고 어르신들에게 조금이나 도움이 되었으면 좋겠으며, 앞으로도 양주시 회천노인복지관과 후원활동 뿐 아니라 다양한 활동을 함께 할 수 있도록 하겠다” 고 밝혔다.

양주시 회천노인복지관 주민정 관장은 “추석명절을 앞두고 복지관 어르신들을 위하여 후원해주신 직장공장새마을운동양주시협의회에 감사드리며, 명절에 도움이 필요하신 어르신들에게 소중히 사용 될 수 있도록 노력하겠다” 고 말했다.

양주시 회천노인복지관은 직장.공장새마을운동양주시협의회와 지난 7월 업무협약을 맺었으며, 지속적인 소통을 통하여 지역자원을 연계하고 있다고 전했다.
