[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 9월 3일부터 10월 29일까지 양주시 회천노인복지관 노인상담센터에서는 한국수자원공사 양주수도지사의 후원을 받아 삶에 대한 기록과 영상 자서전 제작을 통한 자아통합감 형성 프로그램을 진행했다고 밝혔다.

인생노트 책자를 활용하여 어르신들은 현재 내가 서 있는 그 자리에서 뒤를 돌아 그동안 걸어온 수많은 삶의 발자국 가운데 좀 더 선명하게 찍힌 발자국의 내용을 나누며 지나온 삶에 대한 의미를 회고하는 과정들을 통해 자신의 가치를 발견하고 앞으로 주어진 시간을 능동적으로 살아갈 수 있도록 하는 과정을 함께했다고 했다. 

참여자 어르신은 “내 삶이 기록할 것이 뭐가 있을까 의구심이 들었었는데 과정을 함께 하면서 내가 참 괜찮은 삶을 살았구나, 이후의 삶도 내가 할 수 있는 것들을 찾아 능동적으로 살 수 있겠구나.” 하는 생각이 들어 아주 유익했다고 전했다.

양주시 회천노인복지관은 사회교육사업, 건강증진사업, 노인상담사업, 재가복지사업, 노인일자리사업 등 어르신들이 행복하고 편안한 노후를 보낼 수 있도록 다양한 사업을 진행하고 있으며, 기타 자세한 사항은 복지사업팀으로 문의하면 다양한 안내를 받을 수 있다고 밝혔다.
