[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 8월 31일 양주시 회천노인복지관은 한국수자원공사 양주수도지사 지사장 인장환, 운영위원장 도일스님과 양주시 어르신들이 참여한 가운데 복지관 스마트교육장 개소식을 진행했다고 밝혔다. 

스마트교육장은 한국수자원공사 양주수도지사의 지역상생프로젝트의 일환으로 설치되었으며, 키오스크 2대, 컴퓨터 2대가 비치되어 어르신 디지털 역량강화와 노인복지 향상을 위해 운영 될 예정이라고 했다.  

양주시 회천노인복지관 운영위원장 도일스님은 “어르신들이 카페, 주차장, 영화관 등에서 어려움을 겪는 키오스크를 복지관에서 사용해보고, 실생활에서 불편함을 겪는 일이 많이 줄어들 것이라 생각한다” 며 소감을 밝혔다. 

한국수자원공사 양주수도지사 인장환 지사장은 “양주시 회천노인복지관에서 어르신들이 스마트 교육장을 이용하며 여러 가지로 많은 도움을 받으셨으면 좋겠으며, 앞으로도 복지관과 협력하여 다양한 사업을 함께하겠다”고 소감을 밝혔다.

양주시 회천노인복지관 주민정 관장은 “한국수자원공사 양주수도지사 인장환 지사장님과 임직원 여러분들께 다시 한 번 감사드리며, 앞으로도 지역상생을 위해 긴밀히 협력하길 바란다” 며 소감을 밝혔다. 

이날 키오스크 자원봉사단으로 활동하게 된 어르신은 실제 키오스크 시연을 하면서 “원래는 식당이나 카페에 가면 자녀들이 주문해줬는데 이제는 혼자서도 당당히 식당이나 카페를 이용 할 수 있을 정도로 자신감도 생기고 도움이 많이 됐다” 고 참여 소감을 밝혔다. 

양주시 회천노인복지관은 한국수자원공사 양주수도지사와 웰리빙&웰다잉 프로젝트, 행복가득 水 프로젝트 등 지속적인 업무연계를 통하여 다양한 복지활동을 추진하고 있다고 했다. 

한편 양주시 회천노인복지관은 키오스크 및 컴퓨터 이용을 안내하는 안내원 10명을 선발하여 봉사단도 함께 운영하고 있다고 전했다.
