[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 3일 의정부시시설관리공단은 ‘2021년 CEO 추천도서’를 선정하여 독서 릴레이를 시작하였다고 밝혔다. 

평소 직원들에게 운동의 중요성을 강조하는 임해명 이사장은 직원의 건강 증진과 동시에 독서경영을 활성화 하고자 ‘병의 90%는 걷기만 해도 낫는다’를 추천 도서로 선정하였고, 또한 2021년 의정부시 추천도서 중 성인 부문 ‘어린이라는 세계’와 청소년 부문 ‘행운이 너에게 다가오는 중’도 함께 선정하여 지역 독서문화 활성화를 위한 의정부 시책사업에도 적극 동참하고자 하였다고 말했다. 

독서 릴레이는 공단이 지속적으로 추진하는 사업으로, 추천도서를 각 부서에 배부하여 부장, 팀장, 주무관 순으로 책을 읽은 후 기한 내 독후감을 제출하여 성과에 따라 포상을 실시하는 독서운동이라고 했다.

임해명 이사장은 “지난 해 다양한 독서경영으로 「독서경영 우수직장」인증을 획득하였다”며 “독서 릴레이를 통해 사내 독서 문화가 조성되어 직원들의 역량과 창의력이 증진되길 기대한다”고 말했다.
