이번 찾아가는 복지상담 부스는 고산종합사회복지관, 의정부시정신건강복지센터와 공동 진행하고 주거행복지원센터의 협조로 접근성이 용이한 장소에서 지역주민들이 편리하게 종합적인 상담을 받을 수 있도록 진행한 점에서 주변의 큰 호응을 얻었다고 했다. 

김진수 송산1동장은 “물리적 거리로 인해 동주민센터 내방이 어려운 곳으로 찾아가는 상담 서비스를 제공하여 주민의 곁에서 귀를 기울일 수 있는 복지행정을 위해 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
