[김현우 기자 = 포천] 지난 14일 경기도의회 포천상담소에서 ‘경기도의회-포천시 지역현안 정책 발굴 정담회’가 개최됐다.

이날 정담회에는 국민의힘 김성남 도의원과 윤충식 도의원도 참석했으며, 주차난 해소를 위한 주차환경 개선 △지역 문화예술 활성화를 위한 문화시설 구축 및 지원 확대 △청소년이 안전하고 행복한 교육환경 조성 및 지원 확대 △보육 인프라 강화를 통한 교육환경 개선 및 지원 확대 △안전하고 쾌적한 도로 환경 및 보행환경 개선 등 포천시가 앉고 있는 현안 해결을 위해 논의했다. 

윤태길 정책추진단장은 “오늘 정담회는 지역현안에 대한 의견을 듣기 위해 준비했다. 이번 정담회를 통해 정책발굴을 위한 공감하는 자리가 되었으면 좋겠다.”고 정담회 개최 의미를 밝혔다. 

김성남 도의원은 “주차환경개선, 교육환경 개선 등은 포천시민들의 행복한 삶을 위해 매우 중요한 사항이며, 시급한 지역현안을 인식하여 현안이 해결될 수 있도록 속도내 추진하겠다.”조속한 추진을 하겠다는 뜻을 전달했다. 

이어 윤충식 도의원은 “도민의 삶의 질 향상과 복리 증진을 위해 포천시 관계자들과 머리를 맞댔다. 포천시와 상호 협력하여 정책을 추진해 나가겠다”며 관계 부처와 원만합 협의를 진행하갰다는 의지를 밝혔다. 

한편, 이날 정담회는 경기도의회 윤태길 정책추진단장, 도연수 도민권익담당관, 조도현 권익행정팀장, 이동화 정책총괄팀장과 포천시 관계자로는 정덕채 포천시 부시장, 김남현 기획예산담당관, 강성모 미래중심도시추진단장, 김원현 도로과장, 박기영 기획팀장이 참석했다.
