[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 5월 6일, 경기도의회 교육기획위원회 위원장 정윤경 의원은 ‘2022년 교육환경개선 사업 지원 계획’에 대한 보고를 받았다고 밝혔다.

이날 보고는 2022년 교육환경개선 사업의 전반적인 계획과 향후 추진 사항을 구체적으로 논의하기 위해 마련된 자리로, 정윤경 위원장을 비롯하여 군포의왕교육지원청 관계 공무원들과 함께 진행되었다고 전했다.

정윤경 의원은 2022년 상반기에 군포시 관내 학교 교육환경 현장을 직접 방문하여 교직원 및 학부모들의 애로사항을 청취하는 등 학교 시설 환경 개선 점검을 위한 정담회를 실시하였고, 정담회 이후 학교 현안을 적극적으로 해결한 결과 '군포초등학교(학생용 사물함 교체) 4천 만원', '금정초등학교(구령대 계단 보수 공사 및 기계실 배수펌프 교체) 3천 7백만 원', '관모초등학교(어린이놀이시설 경계석 교체 및 이중창 설치) 8억 9천만 원', '군포양정초등학교(교실출입문 교체 및 지반침하 보수 공사 등) 4억 7천만 원', '당정초등학교(교내 포장 공사) 2억 7천만원', '군포중학교(운동장 환경개선) 6천만 원', '군포고등학교(석면 제거) 15억 4천만 원', '군포e비즈니스고등학교(방화문 교체) 9천만 원', '경기폴리텍고등학교(교내 포장 공사) 1억 6천만원의 9개 학교' 등 총 198억 9천만 원의 예산을 확보하였다고 했다.

정윤경 위원장은 “금년 교육환경개선 사업 예산 지원을 통해 군포시 학생들에게 쾌적하고 안전한 교육환경이 제공될 것으로 기대된다.”며 “군포시 학생들이 학업에 집중할 수 있도록 보다 관심을 가지고 최선을 다하겠다.”며 포부를 밝혔다.

이어 정윤경 의원은 “향후에도 학교 현장의 목소리에 귀 기울여 학생들이 보다 쾌적하고 안전한 교육환경에서 건강하게 활동할 수 있도록 세심하게 살피겠다.”며 “지원된 예산이 계획대로 적기에 집행될 수 있도록 지속적인 관심을 가질 것이며, 앞으로도 학생 중심 교육 환경조성과 교육 현안 해결을 위해 집행부와 적극적으로 소통하고 협력하여 교육기획위원장으로서의 책임과 역할을 다하겠다.”고 밝혔다.
