[김준호 기자 =평창군] 평창군파크골프협희(회장 정하선)는 19일 평창군 봉평파크골프장에서 심재국 평창군수 등 약 300여명이 참석한 가운데 제10회 평창군수배 파크골프대회를 개최했다.

이번 대회는, 2022년 5월 봉평면 덕거천 주변에 신규로 조성된 봉평파크골프장에서 처음 개최되는 대회로, 대한파크골프협회 경기 규정에 따라 36홀 개인 타수 경쟁 경기(스트로크 플레이)로 진행되었으며, 관내 5개 클럽, 250여 명의 선수와 관계자들이 그동안 갈고닦은 실력을 선보였다.

파크골프(Park+Golf)는 도심의 공원 또는 유휴부지 등을 이용하여 공간적 제한을 비교적 적게 받고, 체력소모가 적어 남녀노소 함께 즐길 수 있는 스포츠로 요즘 더욱 각광을 받고 있다. 

심재국 평창군수는 “새롭게 조성된 봉평파크골프장에서 지역 파크골프 동호인분들이 기량을 펼치며, 화합의 장을 마련하게 돼 기쁘게 생각하며 앞으로 파크골프를 비롯한 생활체육 저변 확대와 활성화에 힘쓰겠다.”고 전했다.
