[김준호 기자=평창군] 평창군 인감감소를 위한 일환으로 '전입축하 안내물품 지원사업'(지역특산품, 평창군 캐릭터 상품, 지역 안내 책자 등으로 구성된 웰컴박스 300개)를 시범적으로 추진한다고 밝혔다.

해당 사업은 올해 10월에서 12월까지 관외에서 전입한 2인 이상 가구를 대상으로 전입축하 웰컴박스 300개를 선착순으로 제공할 예정이며, 해당 가구는 읍·면사무소 민원부서에서 신청할 수 있다. 

평창군으로 전입한 가구주가 읍사무소에 전입을 신청하면,  읍·면사무소에서 다음 달 전입세대에 직접 방문하여 웰컴박스를 전달할 계획이며, 이를 통해 전입자가 지역에 잘 정착할 수 있도록 소통을 강화할 예정이다.

주현관 기획실장은 “이번 사업은 평창군에서는 최초로 시행하는 사업으로, 전입인구에 대한 종합적인 지역 적응 지원방안을 수립하여 추진할 계획이다.”고 밝혔다.
